Worship....

"True worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth." John 4:23

I have had a lot of opportunities to count my blessings this week and it has been uplifting during transitional and difficult times to look upward for comfort. Isn't it great that we have a God who understands even our thoughts?

Steve and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary this week. So much has happened since we met in 1972. Rachel, one of my daughters took some pics of her boys and their grandparents (us),  I started working with a new paper pack from Close To My Heart called Sonoma to scrap them. Here are the beginnings. I will post  the finished project soon.

I said I would try to blog every 2 weeks, and that is why you are seeing an unfinished project....the promise  got me to the computer, even though the crafting didn't get finished.

People are so much more important than pictures, so even though I love to scrap my memories, I would rather be making the memories with the people I love than scrapping them.  Hence, I have lots of unfinished layouts! LOL.

Please feel free to post your thoughts or what you are working on.

Always, Alayne

Close To My Heart....new cricut cartridge with new stamps!

Watch this you tube video to see a little  taste of the fantastic new cartridge for cricut!
If you want to see it in "person" come to my house next Thursday to play with it!

My Firtst blog.....oh my!

I love to craft and teach others to craft, but the computer and I have a love hate relationship. So today I am making a commitment to post projects and pictures I am working on at least two times a month. I want to challenge my friends to keep their memories up to date by showing them what I am working on and giving them a chance to "scraplift".
I will also let you know when I am having free papercrafting times in my home, (usually Thursday afternoons, 1:30 to 4:30 and what Tuesday evenings I will be teaching digital (and studio J) scrapbooking.
